Been busy with many things in life but I am still painting and showing my art. I have recently joined the Visual Artist Guild of Frisco and showed in 3 shows so far. There are an amazing group of artists that I feel very fortunate to have connected with.

I have downloaded some of my newest pieces, a couple were commissioned pieces that I have neglected to share. I hope you like them and I always appreciate any and all feedback.

I am very proud to announce that one of originally painted pieces of art has been printed on a beautifully Italian made scarf and is now available at one of Fort Worth's proudest stores in the Stockyards! (that's a lot of words!!)

Much thinking and praying going on today! Sometimes our minds can get a small seed of doubt or negative thinking and we really have to work on pushing it out. One thing that works for me, usually, is replacing that thought with something that makes me smile or gets me excited. Another thing that helps is to actually DO SOMETHING! So, for instance, a financial worry slipped into my thoughts this evening, and pretty hard. I had to pull away to myself and pray and replace the thought with a problem-solving question. How can I resolve this financial worry? I needed an action, something "to do" to feel like I had game plan. Prayer can definitely be part of the "action" but I also, texted a good friend for a prayer in manifesting this debt to be paid in full. I researched possible other income outlets and loan forgiveness options. The prayer and advice were very helpful, the faith in believing is next. I do believe and release all of my worries!

The following verse is one that my daddy gave to me when I was little to pray away some warts that were on my hands and arms... they ALL disappeared! True story and one that I like to remind myself. God does hear our prayers, but we have to "ASK" and we have to "BELIEVE".

"If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, move from here to there and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you." Matthew 17:20

Beth Lewis Therapy Group is sponsoring an art show for yours truly!!!

I am very excited for so many reasons! First, it has been a very long time since I have showed any of my art.

It is usually very inspiring and motivating to show your work, hopefully some new stuff will surface!

Another reason I am so stoked about this show is this is the main office that I take clients for my therapy practice.

I love this group and really love the new space! I hope you can all make it!!

Well, I know a lot has been going on that many of you may or may not know so here it is!

Since March of 2017 I have been working as a licensed counselor (talk therapist). I have been taking clients at 5 different locations to help in completing my intern hours and of course helping to pay the bills. I am under a fantastic supervisor (Beth Lewis) and learning more and more every day, I am truly loving what I do! Here is an ideal of what I do each day...

Monday: Clients at AR Psychological Services until 2pm then at Youth and Family Services until 8pm

Tuesday: Client using Art in Therapy in Mineral Wells for Texas Initiative Program, clients at Beth Lewis Therapy Group, then a Batterer Intervention group until 9pm at Opportunities Counseling Center

Wednesday: Clients at AR Psychological Services in Denton from noon to 3pm then Youth and Family Services until 9pm.

Thursday: Therapy utilizing Art with talk therapy for clients at Texas Initiative Programs until 5pm

Friday: Clients at AR Psychological Services in Denton from 2pm - 7pm

I work with clients from ages 4 to 84 years old. I normally work with client-centered therapy and utilize art or play with the children and adolescents. I am also currently accepting new clients in Ft. Worth if you know anyone who could use a therapist! :)

I am also considering putting up an ART SHOW! (haven't done one in years!!)

This will be at the new location of Beth Lewis Therapy Group and will most likely be in December, so keep updated!
